Netflix announced that The Witcher will end with Season 5 and Season 4 in production.
Netflix has announced that the popular fantasy series THE WITCHER will conclude with Season 5. Although the fourth season is in production, fans must accept that they will soon witness the end of Geralt of Rivia’s adventures.
The future of the fantasy series was uncertain when Henry Cavill announced his exit from his role as Geralt. However, fans’ worries were eased when Liam Hemsworth was chosen to replace him for the remaining seasons. Unfortunately, even though it seemed like the series was on the right track, the streaming service has now decided to cancel it.

The streamer has not yet commented on the proposed spin-offs and animated movies already in the pipeline. However, following the negative criticism received by last year’s show, “The Witcher: Blood Origin,” the streamer has decided to cancel the flagship program, raising concerns about the entire IP’s future.
