The Man Of Steel is looking pretty damn cool as David Corenswet suits up in a newly released photo as Superman. Flying into cinemas July 11th, 2025

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s David Corenswet as Superman! And the trunks are back! The reboot of the character isn’t due to hit screens until July 11th, 2025. But that hasn’t stopped the hype from building up. After the release of the logo for the film and the reveal of the ‘S’ logo, everyone has been waiting for the next photo or reveal. Today we have got it in a brand new photo. What will get the fans of the character excited is, that it is of the Man Of Steel himself, in the guise of David Corenswet. Another glimpse of the actor donning the iconic suit has been revealed, as seen below.

PREMISE

The film explores Clark Kent / Superman’s journey to reconcile his Kryptonian heritage with his adoptive human family in Smallville, Kansas.

THE CAST

In addition to Corenswet as Clark Kent/ Superman, the film features Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane. Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent. Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Wendell Pierce as Perry White. Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen. Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt / Mister Terrific. Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, and Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason / Metamorpho. María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica / The Engineer, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, and Terence Rosemore as Otis. It’s official! Sean Gunn will be taking on the role of Maxwell Lord in the upcoming movie. On top of that, the film will introduce Milly Alcock as the iconic Supergirl, aka Kara Zor-El.

The latest superhero rendition is penned and helmed by James Gunn. The filmmakers have announced that the upcoming movie will not follow the usual origin story formula. Instead, it will be set in a pre-existing universe where Clark Kent is a young, aspiring journalist. Throughout the film, he will interact with various iconic characters from his comic book legacy. This new version takes specific inspiration from the comic book All-Star Superman by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely. It will be part of the DCU’s Chapter One: Gods and Monsters.

Superman will take to the skies on July 11th, 2025.
