Michael Keaton returns as the ghost with the most on the new poster for BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE!
It’s been 35 years since the ghost with the most last graced our screens, but at long last, Tim Burton has gifted us our first look at BEETLEJUICE, BEETLEJUICE. With a new trailer expected to emerge from the afterlife tomorrow, Warner Bros has shared our first look at an all-new poster for the film.
The new poster shows Michael Keaton, in full makeup, sitting in the afterlife waiting room. Check out the poster below.

HERE LIES BETELGEUSE
The sequel to Beetlejuice has been in development limbo since the early 1990s, with different creatives pitching their ideas for the film. Some of these pitches have been better received than others. However, after a long wait, Tim Burton has finally agreed to bring Beetlejuice back for another spooky adventure. And it promises to be a doozy. The sequel has been written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, co-creators and co-showrunners of Netflix’s Wednesday. Longtime collaborator Danny Elfman is returning to compose the score with Brad Pitt’s Plan B producing the sequel for Warner Bros.
Naturally, Michael Keaton returns as the legendary Beetlejuice and collaborates with Tim Burton again. Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara are returning cast members as Lydia Deetz and Delia, respectively. Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, and Justin Theroux are new additions to the franchise. Rounding out the cast is Jenna Ortega as Lydia’s daughter.

RELEASE
Sadly, details about the sequel are a closely guarded secret, known only to those in the afterlife. But with Michael Keaton returning as the ghost with the most and Monica Bellucci starring as his wife, maybe some marital hijinks are on the cards. Either way, all will be revealed when Beetlejuice 2Â unleashes the sandworms in cinemas on September 6, 2024.
