The Hot Toys Reva is a fantastic figure that will make a perfect addition to your Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi collection!
Reva (Third Sister) is the latest Hot Toys figure from the Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi series!
THE BOX AND ACCESSORIES
This is your usual Star Wars collectibles box. It’s a black box with a promotional picture of the figure and the Star Wars logo. For the Obi-Wan Kenobi figures, you get a grey and red strip. This strip features additional Reva images, highlighting the character’s different outfit styles—the fugitive look or the normal Inquisitor look. As usual, when you remove the first part of the box, you get another beautiful promotional picture of the figure.
Reva comes with enough accessories to give you plenty of display options. The display base is the usual interior of Star Wars. It’s a simple base that works all the time. It can work as the interior of a Star Destroyer, the Fortress Inquisitorius, or a ship. You also get the usual nameplate, it indicates both her name and her Inquisitor name. Then, she has six hands – two hands to hold the lightsaber, two open hands, one fist, and one gesture hand. Like the Grand Inquisitor, she comes with the same holoprojector, which is more significant than usual. You have two possibilities – you can use it with a Fifth Brother hologram or a hologram of Obi-Wan.

LIGHTSABERS
In terms of lightsabers, she has one that is USB-powered. I have said it in my review of the Grand Inquisitor, but I will repeat it – the USB-powered feature is a real game changer. No more having to remove an arm and insert one with batteries; you need to attach the lightsaber to the hand like any other accessory. It would be best to have a USB cable; you can plug it into a power battery or a USB plug socket, whatever works for you. Moreover, you have three normal lightsaber hilts. One full one is like a USB-powered one, with half a disc and a half one. This gives you three possibilities of display to recreate different scenes from the series. Each hilt has been beautifully sculpted and painted; plenty of details are there!
Finally, Reva has a hooded cloak and a brown belt to recreate her fugitive outfit from the final episode. I think it’s excellent that Hot Toys also included these accessories. I’m not displaying her like that, as she will be part of my Inquisitor display, but I am always happy when Hot Toys gives us as many options as possible!

THE FIGURE
Hot Toys has done a great job recreating Reva’s outfit. Adding the capes to the Inquisitors makes them stand out even more! Star Wars villains with capes are always cooler. I like that each Inquisitor has their distinct costume while still feeling like they’re a part of the same organization, the Inquisitorius.
The boots are two pieces of plastic, meaning you have foot articulation! They used a paint application that gives you the impression it’s leather and plastic. I think Hot Toys is getting good at this! They have been using this technique as much as they could. You can use it everywhere, but using it for boots allows feet articulation without damaging your figure over time! The gauntlets are also made of plastic, which has a different texture and feels more like plate armor. It’s impressive to see how much work they put into these figures. I have said it before: it’s all about the details!
You can attach Reva’s lightsaber hilt to her belt. The system is the same as that of the Jedi figures. It’s the hilt with half a disc that you can attach. When you look at the belt and then the bust, you can see that the plastic with a pleather-style paint texture looks better than the actual pleather. Only the middle of the bust has a pleather, and the armor parts all use plastic. So, it’s a pretty good thing because it limits the part of the figure you have to worry about. The belt and the upper bust use soft plastic that doesn’t limit articulation as much as hard plastic would. Moreover, I think it fits seamlessly with the pleather from the bust.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
Looking at the costume from afar, you may think it’s simple, but there are many more details than you think. When you look closer, the pants and sleeves have two different textures of fabric—one with the pattern and one that feels like buckskin. The inside of the cape also has a dot pattern—this is a lot of work. On a side note, the cape doesn’t have wires for posing.
However, the cloak has wires, which means you can pose it! This cloak look is pretty good. It gives the character another vibe. You can display her with or without the hood and adjust the hood depending on what type of scenes you can recreate.

THE HEADSCULPT
This is an impressive headsculpt that captures Moses Ingram’s likeness. The look in her eyes, the hair sculpture—they got everything right! Another win for Hot Toys. Be careful with the ponytail; it’s not exactly bendable. Unfortunately, the headsculpt doesn’t feature separate rolling eyeballs. It’s disappointing that the two Inquisitor figures don’t have that feature, while the damaged Darth Vader helmet with only one eye has it.
