Yorgos Lanthimos’ film KINDS OF KINDNESS has released a new trailer following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. At which Jesse Plemons received the Best Actor Award. KINDS OF KINDNESS stars Emma Stone, Jesse Plemons, and Willem Dafoe. Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn. Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schaffer. The film will hit the cinemas in the UK and Ireland on June 28th.
PREMISE
KINDS OF KINDNESS is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life. A policeman is unsettled by the return of his wife, who had been missing at sea and now appears to be a changed person. Meanwhile, a woman is resolute in her quest to locate a certain individual endowed with a unique talent, one who is fated to emerge as an extraordinary spiritual leader.

The original screenplay was written by Lanthimos and Efthimis Filippou, signifying their fourth joint effort, following works such as The Lobster, The Killing of a Sacred Deer, and Dogtooth. The film’s production team included Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Kasia Malipan, and Yorgos Lanthimos himself.
KINDS OF KINDNESS is set to premiere in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on June 28th.
