RENNER RECOVERY

Renner’s upcoming appearance in THE MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN marks his return to screens, while Knives Out will be his first major motion picture since his tragic 2023 snow plow accident. In a near-fatal accident, Renner suffered 38 broken bones and a punctured lung. However, after what can only be seen as a miraculous recovery, the actor is back with a vengeance – and we cannot wait to see him back in the saddle.

RELEASE

The Wake Up Dead Man is the last movie in Johnson’s two-movie deal with Netflix. After the agreement ends, it’s uncertain what will happen to the series. However, the first movie in the series was distributed by Lionsgate and made an impressive £312 million at the global box office. So, it’s likely that the studio would want to revive their partnership and make more money from loyal fans. At the time of this writing, the third movie’s plot remains a mystery, known only to a select few. However, with Rian Johnson again at the helm of this murder mystery, a thrilling third installment is almost inevitable.

Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery will release on Netflix sometime in 2025.
