This week on The Official Chart, Barbie returns, and we get more Wicked Little Letters, leaving Dune: Part Two to get an eighth week at the top!
Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE UK TOP TEN
This week, the chart sees three re-entries into the placings. With these new returnees, there is no longer any room for Back To Black, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, and Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom. But where have these returning titles entered into the top ten? Let’s find out.

DUNE MAKES IT EIGHT NON-CONSECUTIVE WEEKS AT THE TOP!
It’s an eighth non-consecutive week at Number 1 for Dune: Part Two on the Official Film Chart. Narrowly defeating Wicked Little Letters by just 2,400 sales, the seemingly-unbeatable Sci-Fi sequel is now the second-longest reigning Film Chart Number 1s ever; only Top Gun: Maverick with 11 weeks has more. WICKED LITTLE LETTERS GET RETURNED AT NUMBER TWO!
The comedy-drama Wicked Little Letters scores a brand-new peak of Number 2, besting its previous high of 3 after rebounding 23 places week-on-week, and earning the title of the biggest digital download of the week. (Read our review here.)

THE FROZEN EMPIRE BEGINS TO THAW!
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire finishes at Number 3 this week. (Read our review here.)

KUNG FU PANDA KICKS ITS WAY BACK INTO THE CHART!
Jack Black’s reprisal as Po in Kung Fu Panda 4 bounces back up 26 places to Number 4.

THE FALL GUY FALLS AGAIN!
The Fall Guy falls again, dropping two places to Number 5. (Read our review here.)

MADAME WEB LOSES HER GRIP!
Madame Web gets washed out slightly as she drops a place to Number 6.

BARBIE BOUNCES BACK!
Barbie at Number 7, flies back up 15 places. (Read our review here.)

THE EQUALIZER IS RUNNING LOW ON AMMO AGAIN!
The Equalizer 3 runs low on ammunition as it drops two places to Number 8.

OPPENHEIMER FIZZLING OUT!
Oppenheimer is fizzling out as it drops to Number 9.

THE MEG STARTING TO DIVE AGAIN!
And finally, Meg 2: The Trench is returning to the depths as it sinks two places to Number 10. (Read our review here.)

FINISHING OFF!
And that is all she wrote for this week. Next week, we will possibly see the return of Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire after its release on digital download and the disc formats on retail this past Monday. Will it have enough power to dethrone Dune: Part Two next week? We will have to wait and see. So, until next week…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!
