KINGDOM OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Header

This week on The Official Chart, Costner’s Horizon rides in, and Meg 2 rises higher, leaving the Apes to continue to rule the chart!

Welcome To The Official Film Chart.

THE UK TOP TEN

This week, a single new entry hits the chart positions. While the other titles move about, this newcomer has ridden in and stolen the place of Abigail. Where has this new entry entered the chart, and can it bother the Kingdom at the top? Let’s find out.

THE KINGDOM CONTINUES TO RULE THE REST!

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes reigns for a fourth week at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart, narrowly blocking The Fall Guy from ending its tenure. The Sci-Fi film now matches Dune: Part Two for the longest consecutive run at Number 1 this year, four weeks, which Dune has done twice. (Read our review here.)

DO YOU WANT TO KILL?

That rounds off our look at the top ten titles on home entertainment this week. Now available to buy on digital download is the Indian action thriller Kill. When an army commando finds out his true love is engaged against her will, he boards a New Dehli-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves begin to terrorize innocent passengers on his train, the commando takes them on himself in a death-defying kill spree to save those around him. Turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fueled thrill ride. The film is like Marmite, you’ll either love it or hate it. (Read our review here.) If it sounds like your kind of thing, you can buy it now for £9.99.

What will occupy the top spot next week? Time will tell, so until next week…
