Who’s next? Sony Pictures has unveiled an exciting new trailer and poster for Marvel’s Kraven The Hunter!
Here’s some welcome news to wake up to. Overnight, Sony Pictures shared an all-new trailer for the upcoming adaptation of Marvel’s KRAVEN THE HUNTER. The film is under the directorial vision of J. C. Chandor and will hit cinemas this December. Aside from starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, the cast includes Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott, and Russell Crowe. The movie is based on the popular Spider-Man villain from Marvel Comics. But before we get webbed up, scroll down and check out the new trailer below.
NEW POSTER
Sony has also released a brand new poster for the movie. The poster showcases Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Kraven, wearing an intense scowl, seemingly directing his anger towards something off-camera. The emotion conveyed in the poster is quite powerful, making me glad that I’m not the target of his intense gaze. Take a look at the poster below.

QUALITY CONTROL
The initial trailer was a thrilling ride, featuring plenty of bloodthirsty action that guarantees an R-rating, and the new trailer is no different. Maintaining this delicate balance is crucial for the franchise. While Venom did well at the box office, its sequel and the recent Morbius film didn’t quite hit the same level of success. So, Sony wants to hit the jackpot and give fans the movie they’ve been waiting for this Christmas. It should be noted that the film boasts the inclusion of the first legitimate iteration of Marvel’s Rhino, so it is refreshing to see the villains of the Spider-Verse being given the respect they deserve. But is the R-rated audience the right fit for Marvel’s baddies? We’ll have to wait and see. Either way, the action starts in December, and we’re excited about it!

THE WALLFISCH EFFECT
Thankfully, the movie already has an ace with Ben Wallfisch. His score for The Flash was terrific, and he delivered some incredible soundscapes. His treatment of Danny Elfman’s Batman theme was just unbelievable. This is the hallmark of a talented composer at the top of their game. So, everyone is looking forward to seeing what he can bring to the Marvel universe. Based on his last few soundtracks, it’s safe to say that his next one will be another fantastic addition to his filmography.
Kraven The Hunter is coming out on December 13th. Are you excited about the movie? Let me know in the comments!
