Get ready, Iron Man fans, because Tony Stark’s Mark 45 Armour from Avengers Age of Ultron has arrived in Fortnite. Just days after the Fortnite x Marvel collaboration delivered the Iron Spider and Felicia Hardy’s Black Cat, the armored Avenger is here to save us from Doctor Doom. The glorious new skin is based on the character’s appearance in the second Avengers movie and promises to be one of the hottest new skins of the season. Fans have eagerly requested a new Iron Man skin since the previous version became inaccessible behind the Battle Pass paywall. With Disney now pouring significant money into the platform, Earth’s Mightiest heroes are swiftly making their way in…and we couldn’t be happier.
MARK 45
Marvel and Epic Games have gone above and beyond to bring this skin to their player base, and the set reflects their efforts. In addition to the skin, the set boasts a Mark 45 Energy Blade pickaxe, a LEGO variant, a themed guitar to use in Fortnite Festival, a Repulsor Energy Collector back bling, and a weapons wrap. Sadly, the character doesn’t come with a custom glider, but that is a minor detraction from what otherwise looks like a sensational new character.

Considering the accessories included, this set is a premium collection, and the cost is expected to reflect that. However, Fortnite has split the components to make the set more affordable. If you wish to buy the whole set, the bundle will save you a few V-Bucks, which is always welcome.

In the new ABSOLUTE DOOM season, the latest Iron Man is now available in the item shop. Marvel fans can now play as Tony Stark’s armored Avenger and head to Castle Doom, which is really exciting.
The Fortnite x Marvel collaboration has delivered some sensational characters in recent weeks. In addition to the plethora of characters in the Battle Pass, Cyclops, Jubilee, and Colossus from the X-Men were recently released. Marvel’s mighty mutants arrived weeks after Loki and Sylvie from the Disney+ series. Additionally, Wolverine and Deadpool debuted after their box-office-conquering movie.
Thankfully, this latest release is only the first of many planned for the rest of the year. In addition to new variants of Sabertooth and Deadpool, Disney announced a treasure trove of new characters at this year’s D23 Expo. Many of Disney’s greatest villains are arriving in the fall, with The Incredibles launching soon afterward. The future looks promising for the productive partnership between Epic Games and Disney, and may it last long. But who will join Tony Stark on the map next? Will more Spider-Man adversaries arrive to stir up trouble? Will additional X-Men come to unleash their mutant power? Or will Doctor Doom enlist Ultron to strengthen his forces?
