There are tricks as well as treats this October on Paramount+. With the return of Lioness for a second season. Star Trek: Lower Decks beaming in for its fifth and final season. Series three of Transformers EarthSpark. The premiere of the original series Curfew. And the premiere of the horror movie The Beast Within. Add some spooky movies and TV series, and you’ll have a mountain of entertainment to enjoy.
CURFEW
The box set drops on October 10th. There are 6 episodes of 60 minutes each. An adaptation of Jayne Cowie’s novel After Dark. Curfew is set in an alternative reality where all men live under ‘The Women’s Safety Act’, bound by a strict curfew from 7 pm to 7 am every night with their movements tracked by an ankle tag 24 hours a day. When a woman’s body is discovered brutally murdered during curfew hours and left on the steps of the Women’s Safety Centre, veteran Police officer Pamela Green believes a man is responsible. But in a world where men are bound by the curfew system, her theory is rejected. The introduction of The Women’s Safety Act almost three years ago is widely considered as effective at protecting women, who have been able to go out at night without looking over their shoulders, and nobody wants to hear different.
LIONESS SERIES 2
Episodes 1 & 2 drop on October 27th. There are 8 episodes of 60 minutes each. As the CIA’s fight against terror moves closer to home, Joe, Kaitlyn, and Byron enlist a new Lioness operative to infiltrate a previously unknown threat. With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe is forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she has made as the leader of the Lioness program.
THE BEAST WITHIN
The film drops on October 11th. Kit Harington is beastly in this father-daughter monster thriller. In 1965 rural England, a ten-year-old girl begins to question her unusual life in her family’s fortified compound in rural England. And discovers that once a month her father turns into a monster. Her parents say the monster is nothing to be afraid of but when it escapes, the girl has to confront the harsh reality of her father’s identity. And make a life-altering decision. The decision her mother never could.
STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS SERIES 5
Episodes 1 & 2 drop on October 24th. There are 10 episodes of 30 minutes each. In season five of Star Trek: Lower Decks, the crew of the U.S.S Cerritos is tasked with closing “Space Potholes”-subspace rifts which are causing chaos in the Alpha Quadrant. Pothole duty would be easy for Jr. Officers Mariner, Boimler, Tendi and Rutherford…if they didn’t also have to deal with an Orion War. Furious Klingons, diplomatic catastrophes, murder mysteries and scariest of all: their own career aspirations. This upcoming Season on Paramount+ is a celebration of this underdog crew who are dangerously close to being promoted out of the lower decks. And into strange new Starfleet roles.
AUSSIE SHORE
Episodes 1 & 2 drop on October 3rd. There are 10 episodes of 60 minutes each. Aussie Shore is the first Australian iteration of the smash-hit international ‘Shores’ franchise. The outrageous original series, Jersey Shore and Geordie Shore were pioneering phenomena that launched the career of the most famous of all partygoing housemates and our Aussie Shore House Boss, Charlotte Crosby. The Aussie Shore house in which Charlotte presides, promises to be the epicentre of outrageously wild action that takes place in the non-stop party town of Cairns in tropical Queensland. Where the sun is hot, the drinks are cold and the tan lines aplenty.
TRANSFORMERS EARTHSPARK SERIES 3
The box set drops on October 26th. There are 11 episodes of 30 minutes each. The Transformers war on Earth concluded years ago. Dot Malto, a veteran of the war, along with her husband, Professor Alex Malto, and their kids Robby and Mo, move to the remote town of Witwicky, Pennsylvania, to start a new life. But Witwicky proves to be-MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE. The family soon finds their lives intertwined with a group of Terran Transformers-the first Transformers born on Earth! When the evil half-human/half-robot cyborg Dr, Meridian (AKA Mandroid) threatens life as they know it, Robby, Mo and the Terrans band together with legendary Autobots like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee to stop Mandroid once and for all!

As well as all the new and exciting content, there are the continuations of series that have already premiered. Frasier Season 2 continues with episodes 4-7, with all episodes available on November 15th. While Tulsa King Season 2 also continues with episodes 4-7, with all episodes available on November 17th.
