The Fortnite x The Incredibles collaboration has landed. After being teased at Disney’s D23 Expo earlier in the year, Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, and Frozone have unleashed their superhero antics on the map. With the Marvel ABSOLUTE DOOM Battle Pass in full swing, the map could use a few more superheroes to help stop Doctor Doom’s rise to power – and who better to help save the day than The Incredibles?
This fantastic new trio looks incredible and is set to be one of the hottest bundles of the season. And this is just the beginning. With Disney now investing heavily in the platform, characters from Pixar’s superhero team are quickly making their way in… and we couldn’t be more excited.
WHERE ARE THOSE SUPER SUITS?
Disney Pixar and Epic Games have gone above and beyond to bring these skins to their player base, and the set reflects their efforts. In addition to the three skins, the set boasts a host of back bling, pickaxes, LEGO styles, and emotes. Sadly, the characters don’t come with custom gliders or edit styles, but that is a minor detraction from what otherwise looks like a sensational new trio of characters. Even more frustrating is that the previously revealed Incredibile vehicle is not part of the bundle. The car is still expected to arrive on the platform in the coming weeks, but it’s disappointing that it isn’t available simultaneously with the new characters.

Considering the accessories included, this set is a deluxe collection, and the cost reflects that. However, Fortnite has split the components to make the set more affordable. If you wish to buy the whole set, the bundle will save you a few V-Bucks, which is always welcome.

RELEASE
Thankfully, this latest release is only the first of many planned for the rest of the year. In addition to new variants of Sabertooth and Deadpool, Disney announced a treasure trove of new characters at this year’s D23 Expo. Many of Disney’s greatest villains, including Maleficent, Captain Hook, and Cruella de Vil, are arriving in the fall. But these are just a few of the planned new characters set to debut.
The future looks promising for a productive partnership between Epic Games and Disney, and long may it continue. But who will join The Incredibles on the map next? Will more Spider-Man adversaries arrive to stir up trouble? Will additional X-Men come to unleash their mutant power? Are more Star Wars characters incoming? Or will Doctor Doom enlist Ultron to strengthen his forces?
All will be revealed in the coming weeks…
