Fortnite x Fast & Furious crossover: Get ready to race with the iconic Nissan Skyline from the action-packed franchise in Fortnite.
The Fortnite x Fast & Furious crossover has arrived in the game. After making its debut a few months back in Rocket League, the iconic cars from the Fast and the Furious series are now making their way to Fortnite. So far, three vehicles from the action-packed racing franchise have been released in the Rocket League item store: Dom’s Dodge Charger, Brian’s Nissan Skyline, and Han’s Mazda. And now, they are making their way onto Fortnite.
As the Marvel ABSOLUTE DOOM Battle Pass appears to be reaching its climax, our heroes require a speedy getaway from Doom’s armies – and what better mode of transport than the swiftest cars in pop culture history? Brian’s Nissan Skyline is the first car from the Fast franchise to appear in Fortnite. Fans loved the car when it first appeared in 2 Fast 2 Furious, and now it’s ready to race around the map. What’s really cool is that players can customize the car with different wraps and decals to give it their own unique style. The main decal is Brian’s look from 2 Fast, but with the custom feature, players can even recreate the version Brian drives in Fast & Furious.
10 SECONDS OR LESS…
Epic Games has put a lot of effort into introducing this vehicle to their players, and the set shows their dedication. You can buy the Fast & Furious Nissan Skyline from the Fortnite Shop for 2,500 V-Bucks as part of the Fast & Furious Nissan Skyline bundle. The bundle includes the Nissan Skyline Car Body with 49 different painted styles, 8 Decals, and two Wheels, all exclusive to the Nissan Skyline and cannot be used for other vehicles. Players who purchase the Nissan Skyline in Fortnite will also unlock it in Rocket League, as long as they are logged into the same Epic Account for both games.
If you’ve already bought the Nissan Skyline in Rocket League, you can get it for free in Fortnite as long as both games are linked to the same Epic Account. Rocket League players who already have the vehicle might need to go to the Fortnite Shop to claim it, but they won’t have to spend any V-Bucks this time.
RIDE OR DIE
Fortunately, this latest release is just the beginning of many more throughout the year. Thankfully, it’s not just limited to the Fast franchise. Disney has recently made significant investments in Fortnite, expanding the roster of characters on the map. Disney fans are certainly in for a treat. At this year’s D23 Expo, Disney announced many new characters, many of which are already available in the game. Characters from The Incredibles and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchises have recently debuted, and a plethora of Star Wars and Marvel characters have also joined the lineup.
But that is just the tip of the iceberg. Disney’s most iconic villains, such as Maleficent, Captain Hook, and Cruella de Vil, are set to join the fall lineup. Maleficent is expected to debut just in time for Halloween. Additionally, new characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas will be added, joining Jack Skellington in the game, making the upcoming months genuinely thrilling. And now, with the introduction of cars from Fortnite x Fast & Furious, we can anticipate Dom’s Dodge Charger as the next significant addition. Suppose this is any indication of what’s to come. In that case, fans can eagerly await the arrival of more Rocket League collaboration cars to their Fortnite lineup very soon – an exciting prospect indeed.
THE FUTURE
The future looks promising for a productive partnership between Epic Games and Disney, and long may it continue. But who will join The Incredibles on the map next? Will more Spider-Man adversaries arrive to stir up trouble? Will additional X-Men come to unleash their mutant power? Are more Star Wars characters incoming? Or will Doctor Doom enlist Ultron to strengthen his forces? All will be revealed in the coming weeks…
The Fortnite x Fast & Furious Nissan Skyline is available to buy from the item store now.
