Coming to screens in December is the latest film from writer & director Brady Corbet, The Brutalist. The film, from A24, will be released in screens on December 20th. The historical drama boasts a terrific cast led by Adrien Brody, Felicity Jones and Guy Pearce. The film also features Joe Alwyn, Raffey Cassidy, Stacy Martin, Emma Laird, Isaach de Bankolé, and Alessandro Nivola. The movie tells the story of a visionary architect László Tóth, chronicling 30 years of his life as he survives the Holocaust and emigrates to the United States with his wife. PREMISE
Escaping post-war Europe, visionary architect László Toth arrives in America to rebuild his life. His work, and his marriage to his wife Erzsébet after being forced apart during wartime by shifting borders and regimes. On his own in a strange new country, László settles in Pennsylvania. Where the wealthy and prominent industrialist Harrison Lee Van Buren recognizes his talent for building. But power and legacy come at a heavy cost…
