Get ready to jump into 2025 with the exciting and wonderful entertainment on Paramount Plus this January. From the new Paramount Original series The Crow Girl, School Spirits Series 2, Beacon 23 Series 2, Geordie Shore Series 25, and the eagerly awaited Star Trek: Section 31, there’s enough entertainment descending from the mountain to keep us all entertained for the start of the new year!
THE CROW GIRL
The box set drops on January 16th and contains 6 episodes of 60 minutes each. When the bodies of unidentified young men start to show up, beaten and full of the anaesthetic Lidocaine, DCI Jeanette Kilburn enlists the help of psychotherapist Dr Sophia Craven to hunt the killer taking them down a dangerous path of historical abuse, murder, and dark secrets.
STAR TREK: SECTION 31
The film becomes available on January 24th. In Star Trek: Section 31, Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh reprises her fan-favourite role as Emperor Philippa Georgiou, a character she played in Star Trek: Discovery‘s first season, who joins a secret division of Starfleet. Tasked with protecting the United Federation Of Planets, she must also face the sins of her past.
SCHOOL SPIRITS SERIES 2
Episodes 1-3 drop on January 31st then a weekly release. There are 8 episodes of 60 minutes each. Picking up from the shocking season one finale, Maddie Nears is still stuck in the afterlife, but now with the knowledge of what happened to her. She must unite her friends in the spectral and living worlds in order to reclaim her stolen life. In the just-released teaser, viewers get a glimpse into the suspense that awaits them this season.
BEACON 23 SERIES 2
Episodes 1-2 drop on January 23rd ten a weekly release. There are 8 episodes of 60 minutes each. Returning to Beacon 23, the inhabitants are still still trapped with Aleph. As punishment for their disobedience, Aleph murders The Column, imprisons Halan and banishes Harmony. With Halan’s help, Harmony finds her way back to Beacon 23. Lacking resources to survive, Halan sends a distress signal which reaches Iris onboard Beacon 67. When Iris arrives, she is stunned by the disrepair of Beacon 23, so she works with Halan to fix the beacon. When Halan’s past catches up to him, he has no choice but to undergo a procedure that will connect him to Aleph.
KILLER PERFORMANCE
Episodes 1-3 drop on January 30th then fortnightly release. There are 6 episodes of 60 minutes each. In this six-part series, focusing on six notorious murderers, are three of the world’s most experienced super sleuths who are trained in exposing the lies behind a serial killer’s performance. The series explores the diabolical personas of murderers who cry fake tears to manipulate the media and public in a disturbing attempt to exonerate themselves from their crimes.
Killer Performance delves into chilling cases where public appearances and police interviews played host for killers Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Drew Peterson, Chacey Poynter, Stephen McDaniel and Chris Watts to feign grief in attempts to persuade the public of their innocence.
GEORDIE SHORE SERIES 25
Episodes 1 & 2 drop on January 7th then weekly release. There are 10 episodes of 45 minutes each. At the end of the last series, Kyle proposed to Vicky, who thankfully said yes! Buzzing to be his best mates ‘Geordie best man’, James has organised an EPIC stag do in Thailand for the whole family to celebrate BUT…it’s going to be complicated! As the lads arrive to full-on luxury in Koh Samui, there’s a huge surprise in store as ‘long lost brother’ Scotty T returns to join the stag! Meanwhile, Nathan, Chloe, Sophie and Abbie decide to take a quick detour and throw themselves into the noise, neon and nonsense of a crazy 48 hours in Bangkok! What could go wrong, right?! So, will the trip to ‘Land Of Smiles’ end in tears instead? Watch this space…

If that isn’t enough for you, there is always the continuation of some of the hit shows that have already launched. Dexter: Original Sin will be carving out episodes 4-8 with all episodes becoming available on February 14th. The Agency will spy episodes 4-8 with all episodes available on January 13th. Landman will pump out episodes 9-10 with all episodes available on January 13th. And Making A Serial Killer Series 2 will be caught dumping episodes 6-10 with all episodes available on January 31st.
