THE WEEK’S BEST-SELLERS
This week sees a single new entry and two re-entries into the placings. Of course, to make room for these titles, we must lose three others. So, with a cheery farewell, we bid goodbye to Kraven The Hunter, Terrifier 3, and The Last Voyage Of The Demeter. But what are these new and returning titles and where have they entered the chart? Grab your marmalade sandwiches as we set off on an exploration.

PADDINGTON IN PERU TAKES THE TOP SPOT!
Paddington In Peru debuts at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart on digital downloads only. Marking the fourth chart-topper of the year, Paddington In Peru is the third film in the Paddington film series and sees the beloved bear return to Peru with the Brown family to see Aunt Lucy-quickly finding themselves plunged into an unexpected and thrilling adventure.

MOANA SAILS DOWN TO NUMBER TWO!
As a result of Paddington, Moana 2 drops to Number 2.

WICKED HOVERS IN THIRD!
Wicked continues to hover near the top of the chart, holding steady at Number 3.

CONCLAVE SEES WHITE SMOKE AGAIN!
The religious conspiracy thriller Conclave sees white smoke as it rises up the chart by six places to Number 4.

VENOM STARTS HIS LAST DANCE AGAIN!
The chart regular Venom: The Last Dance begins its dance back down the chart again as it falls three places to Number 5.

NOSFERATU SAYS FANGS A LOT AT NUMBER SIX!
The modern retelling of the classic horror story, Nosferatu, hangs on to a place despite falling two places to Number 6.

TIME TO REWRITE IN BRIDGET JONES’S DIARY!
Bridget Jones’s Diary rises eighteen places this week as it hits the Number 7 spot, thanks to the release of the new sequel, Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy.

GLADIATOR II TAKES ANOTHER CHART ARENA LOSS!
Former chart-topper Gladiator II lands at this week’s Number 8.

WHO IS THE FATHER OF BRIDGET JONES’S BABY?
We all know the answer to that one! As it is, Bridget Jones’s Baby also gets a chart boost this week, rising fifteen places to Number 9.

THE WILD ROBOT MALFUNCTIONS AT TEN!
Rounding out this week’s top ten is The Wild Robot, falling three places to Number 10.

TAKE YOUR PICK THIS WEEK ON PVOD!
This week, you can take your pick of the best movies to watch on PVOD. We start off with the Disney sequel to its remake, Mufasa: The Lion King. This time, the film is a prequel with several sequel elements to it. It focuses on the rise of Mufasa from a young cub to become the Lion King he was meant to be. The film is available to rent for £15.99 or to buy early for £19.99.

Or you could watch the critically acclaimed Robbie Williams biopic, Better Man. The film features the singer voicing himself as a CGI monkey in a film that has had audiences singing along with the lyrics while being astounded by the dance routines. Sadly, the film was a box office flop despite deserving more. It is available to rent only for the price of £15.99.

FANCY HOWLING AT THE MOON?
Anyone feeling like having a fright or two, the remake of Wolf Man has been released. This version is a modern retelling of the classic tale. It features Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner. The film was another one to flop at the box office. On a personal note, I can easily see why. Universal Monster fans will not be best pleased by the film as there is nothing here that remotely ties in with the Wolfman legend. It does contain a few decent jump scares, though. Again, the film is available to rent for £15.99 or buy early for £19.99.

Can any of these titles make a dent in the chart next week? There’s only one way to find out. So, until next time…
Whatever you decide, whatever you buy, stay safe, be kind, look after each other, and happy viewing!!
