Tokyo has lit the fuse! The global tour for Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning has kicked off. The first event saw a red carpet event at the Metropolitan Government Building and a premiere screening of the film in IMAX. Stars Tom Cruise, Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Pom Klentieff, Greg Tarzan Davis and director, producer and screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie attended the event. Light the fuse one more time; the end may be in sight. After the incredible Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning, we are all ready for the second and concluding part of the story. On May 21st, Tom Cruise may conclude his time as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible-The Final Reckoning. Cruise again stars and takes on a producing role for the eighth film in the long-running franchise. Joining him on what could be his final mission is Hayley Atwell. Ving Rhames. Simon Pegg. Vanessa Kirby. Esai Morales. Pom Klementieff. Mariela Garriga. Henry Czerny. Holt McCallany. Janet McTeer. Nick Offerman. Hannah Waddingham. Angela Bassett. Shea Whigham. Greg Tarzan Davis. Charles Parnell and Frederick Schmidt.
Despite the film being touted as the farewell for Cruise and his character Ethan Hunt, the actor has expressed interest in continuing with the franchise. In July of 2023, during promotion for Dead Reckoning, Cruise expressed interest in continuing to make further films in the series as Ethan Hunt, despite both films having initially been billed as a send-off to the character.
