Captain’s Log…the long wait for new episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is almost over. Today, Paramount+ has shared a new poster for the upcoming third season, and it reveals that the series will officially return on July 17. The season two finale feels like a lifetime ago, considering it premiered in August 2023. But now, Trek fans can look forward to reuniting with the crew of the Starship Enterprise this summer for another dozen strange new adventures.
The two-episode premiere night of Strange New Worlds kicks off with the long-awaited resolution to the Season 2 cliffhanger. This sets the stage for nine weeks of new episodes leading up to the Season 3 finale on September 11. But before we set a course for the Neutral Zone, let’s check out the new poster below.

NEW EPISODES. OLD CREW
The artwork showcases the main cast of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which includes Anson Mount as Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One, Ethan Peck as Spock, Celia Rosa Gooding as Uhura, Jess Bush as Chapel, Melissa Navia as Ortegas, Christina Chong as La’an, and Babs Olusanmokun as M’Benga. But if you’re hoping to get up close and personal with the crew, check out the character posters here.

SYNOPSIS
In Season 3, when we reconnect with the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise, still under the command of Captain Pike, they face the conclusion of season two’s harrowing encounter with the Gorn. But new life and civilizations await, including a villain that will test our characters’ grit and resolve.
An exciting twist on classic Star Trek, Season 3 takes characters both new and beloved to new heights, and dives into thrilling adventures of faith, duty, romance, comedy, and mystery, with varying genres never before seen on any other Star Trek.
