A final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps unites Marvel’s first family and heralds the arrival of Galactus!
We are under a month away from the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Marvel’s marketing campaign has kicked up a notch. With the promo tour about to get underway, Marvel Studios has shared a final trailer for the summer blockbuster. In the two-minute trailer, we see the F4 unite as a family, herald the arrival of the Silver Surfer, and rise to face the threat of Galactus, all the while pleading with The Thing to say the line.
But can the family convince him to say, “It’s Clobberin’ Time!” Watch the trailer and see for yourself!
NEW POSTER
What a phenomenal new trailer. We finally saw Reed Richards in action, saw Johnny Storm write the F4 logo in the sky in flames, and caught our first look at H.E.R.B.I.E. getting in on the action. But Marvel has another ace up its sleeve. The studio also shared a gorgeous new poster for the film, and it features every member of the Fantastic Four flying into action. Check it out below:
SYNOPSIS
Against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel’s First Family is forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, while defending Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer.
RELEASE
Matt Shakman appears to have done his homework and looks set to deliver the definitive version of F4 to date, and that is incredibly exciting. What’s more, The Thing is sporting a beard towards the end of the trailer, which is a major draw for the fans. But it is the film’s incredible cast that makes this film so appealing.
The film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. Julia Garner was recently cast as Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson joined the party as Galactus. Our team recently enjoyed discussing the new-look cast, and we had a variety of thoughts on it.
