Alien Earth Review (Episode 1)

Hulu and Disney+ have released a new multi-character poster for Noah Hawley’s Alien Earth, which will be available to stream this summer.

Although we are still several weeks away from the release of Noah Hawley’s Alien Earth, the studio is pulling out all the stops to make sure the series stays fresh in our minds. As we enter July with mega blockbusters like Jurassic World: Rebirth, Superman, and The Fantastic Four all competing for our attention, it’s going to be a tough ask. However, when the studio releases a new poster featuring the incredible cast that will carry the series forward, it effortlessly catapults the series back to the forefront of our minds. So, let’s meet these recruits from the Weyland-Yutani corporation. Check it out below.

A New Poster for Alien Earth Arrives from Weyland-Yutani

THE CAST

What a phenomenal new poster. The series promises to be a landmark piece of television when it debuts on Hulu and Disney+ in August. Noah Hawley has put together a fantastic cast, one that will carry this bold chapter forward. The cast includes Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, and Adarsh Gourav.

Sydney Chandler portrays the meta-human character Wendy in “Alien: Earth.” Wendy has the body of an adult but the brain and consciousness of a child. Her co-stars include Essie Davis as Dame Silvia, Alex Lawther as a soldier named CJ, and Samuel Blenkin as a CEO named Boy Kavalier.  Adarsh Gourav plays a character named Slightly, while Kit Young portrays Tootles. Timothy Olyphant (from “The Mandalorian“) plays Kirsh, a synth who serves as a mentor and trainer for Wendy.

The cast also includes Babou Ceesay, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diêm Camille, Adrian Edmondson, Moe Bar-El, and David Rysdahl. However, details about their characters have not been disclosed yet. Sandra Yi Sencindiver from “Foundation” will appear in multiple episodes as a senior member of the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.

Additionally, Richa Moorjani, Karen Aldridge, Enzo Cilenti, Max Rinehart, Amir Boutrous, newcomer Victoria Masoma, Tom Moya, Andy Yu, Michael Smiley, Jamie Bisping, and Tanapol Chuksrida have also been cast in guest roles.

New Look at Alien Earth

RELEASE

Alien Earth, the 8-episode series, will launch with a special two-episode premiere on Tuesday, August 12. Fans in the United States can watch the series on Hulu or FX. UK fans can catch the series exclusively on Disney+.
