Hot Toys unveils a new Peacemaker for season 2! Get ready to bring John Cena home!
After a tease last week, Hot Toys has finally announced its new Peacemaker figure to celebrate the release of season 2. Collectors will be pleased to see that this updated version now features a head sculpt of John Cena. Fans had been asking for it with the first figure, and now Hot Toys has listened!
In Peacemaker Season 2, John Cena reprises his role as the unhinged yet oddly heroic Chris Smith, who, after facing multiversal consequences, must confront his traumatic past.
Hot Toys introduces the 1/6th scale Peacemaker Collectible Figure, meticulously crafted to reflect John Cena’s compelling portrayal. The figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, plus an alternate helmeted head with two types of metallic silver electroplated helmets and two interchangeable lower-face expressions, completed with a magnetically attachable tongue. The sculpted dark brown hair, screen-accurate skin texture, and detailed facial nuances bring Peacemaker’s expressive intensity to life. Built on a muscular body with seamless-elbow silicone arms, the figure offers versatile posing options with realism.
Costumed in his iconic red and navy ringer tee with the Dove of Peace emblem, Peacemaker wears a pair of gauntlets, a pair of pants with a pistol holster, a utility belt with pouches, and a pair of long boots — faithfully recreating his on-screen gear. It comes with eight pieces of interchangeable hands, including fists, bladed fists, relaxed hands, and weapon-holding hands to facilitate dynamic posing, as well as a range of weapon accessories such as a pistol, silencer, sword, and tomahawk. Peacemaker finally got to get his jetpack, as the figure includes a magnetically attachable jetpack that can be worn on his back. His eagle sidekick, the beloved Eagly, comes as a detailed accessory with interchangeable spread-wing options. Everything rests atop a specially designed stand featuring the Peacemaker logo, allowing collectors to replicate scenes from the wild multiverse adventures of Season 2.

It’s outrageous, gratuitous, ultra-violent, edgy, and jaw-droppingly enjoyable. The characters and their relationships are afforded more time to develop. Gunn has laid the foundations for everything that will follow in his new DCU. Sadly, the new season isn’t without its flaws; there are a few glaring issues with the relaunch. However, they take nothing away from another balls-to-the-wall season of madness. With elements of the new DCU adding their strength to an already ballsy storyline, the second season is off to a strong start.
