Best friends Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are reuniting on screen once again. After films like Dogma and Good Will Hunting, the pair are back together in the upcoming action thriller, The Rip. Joe Carnahan directed the film and wrote the screenplay. It will premiere globally on Netflix on January 16, 2026. Also appearing in the movie are Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. With Scott Adkins and Kyle Chandler. Today, the film’s teaser trailer and first poster were released.
Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces uncover the extent of the seizure, they begin to question everything, including whom they can trust.
