“LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy – Pieces of the Past is another fun LEGO adventure with many surprises.”
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy is back for new adventures with Pieces of the Past. Like the first season, it’s composed of four episodes, each 23 minutes long. The season releases today on Disney+.
STORY

Who needs a Star Wars version of Marvel’s What If…? when we have Rebuild The Galaxy. It’s more fun and it’s a LEGO series! The two brothers, Sig and Dev Greebling, are back for more adventures in a galaxy where the good guys are now the bad guys and the bad guys are now the good guys. At its heart, like any Star Wars story, it’s an endearing tale about family, blood ties between the two brothers, and the discovery of the Jedi Bob and Yesi Scala.
This new season takes the story in an exciting new direction, keeping things entertaining. It’s an absolute joy to watch. Indeed, LEGO never disappoints. It has been able to take this beloved franchise and revisit it in a fun way. Nothing is off limits. What’s cooler than the Mandalorian and Grogu? The Landolorian! Let’s not forget Jaxxon, too, who doesn’t love the green rabbit? LEGO knows how to find creative ways to spice things up. There are many surprises in store for Star Wars and LEGO fans alike, including some intense cut elements and inside jokes that will be understood by those on social media. I love how this series is self-aware and doesn’t take itself seriously. We are here to have fun. There’s something for everyone. Undoubtedly, there’s room for more seasons.
VOICE CAST

The main cast of the first season is once again back. Gaten Matarazzo and Tony Revolori are great as the leads. I would love for them to get the opportunity to play a character in a live-action Star Wars story next! Moreover, Dan Stevens is joining the Star Wars galaxy as the villain Solitus. He has the voice for this type of voice.
It’s a bit disappointing that Daisy Ridley didn’t return to voice Darth Rey; it would have been great to see her tackle that. It’s always better when original cast members return to voice their characters in animated specials or video games. Billy Dee Williams is still delightful as this Lando version of the Mandalorian. Even if it’s just the voice, he always brings a certain charm that catches everyone’s attention. I also love that for this series, they decided to keep the voice actors from the animated series, too, which means we get to hear the voices from the The Clone Wars cast! It will never not be funny to hear Sam Witwer voice Maul in situations that are out of character.
VERDICT
LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild The Galaxy – Pieces of the Past is another fun LEGO adventure with many surprises for Star Wars and LEGO fans alike. At its heart, this series is an endearing story about family, like any Star Wars story.
