The latest featurette for One Piece Season 2: Into The Grand Line takes us back to the town of the beginning and the end!
Although we are still a long way off from the release of One Piece Season 2: Into the Grand Line, Netflix continues to pour fuel into the hype train. Just weeks after the recently released trailer and a treasure trove of new images set sail, today the streamer has upped the ante with a fresh new featurette that takes us back to Loguetown.
This bustling city is renowned as the site of the execution of the infamous pirate king, Gold Roger (Michael Dorman). At the heart of the town is the execution platform, where Roger was sentenced to death back in the Season 1 premiere. And from the looks of things, the city is going to play a pivotal role in Monkey D. Luffy’s quest to become the King of the Pirates. Let’s take a look:
NEW POSTER
If that isn’t enough to have you reaching for your Straw Hat, Netflix also shared a new poster for the upcoming second season. The glossy one-sheet features Monkey D. Luffy entering the city dominated by the enormous execution platform. Take a look below.

SET SAIL FOR THE GRAND LINE
Season 2 will unleash “fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet,” according to the official synopsis. “Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line — a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”
New episodes will feature fan-favorite character Tony Tony Chopper (voiced by Mikaela Hoover), a reindeer-boy hybrid who’s as smart as he is cute.
CAST & CREW
The entire cast will return for the new season, as well as the previously announced third season, led, as always, by Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy. Tracz serves as co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer for Season 2 alongside Matt Owens. Additional executive producers for the series include Oda, Marty Adelstein, and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, as well as Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda.

THE SERIES
Based on Eiichiro Oda’s legendary manga series, ONE PIECE follows a daring young pirate named Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) as he sails the seas with his Straw Hats crew: swordsman Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), cartographer Nami (Emily Rudd), storyteller Usopp (Jacob Romero), and chef Sanji (Taz Skylar). Luffy dreams of becoming the King of the Pirates by finding infamous pirate Gold Roger’s (Michael Dorman) mysterious treasure, the One Piece.

RELEASE
What a phenomenal new featurette. The first season of the hit series was a sensation, providing an incredible pirate adventure. Season 2 appears to be building on that strong foundation. With our cast in place, the gloves are off, and the action is ramped up to eleven! The creatures are bigger, the enemies are bolder, and the action looks off the charts. So, we will be sitting in our straw hats for Season 2, come hell or high water. Sadly, Netflix still hasn’t pencilled in a definitive release date, only a tentative 2026 window. However, we will bring you the news as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, there’s always time for a Season One rewatch!
So, get ready to raise your sail, because Monkey D. Luffy returns in One Piece: Into the Grand Line in 2026.
