Fortnite x Friday the 13th: Jason Voorhees Confirmed for Fortnitemares!

In the latest teaser for the Fortnite Fortnitemares 2025 event, a new skin for Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees has been announced.
Look out, Friday the 13th fans, because Jason Voorhees is coming to Fortnite. The Fortnite Fortnitemares season has been revealed, and as expected, it is packed with horror icons. We’ve known for a while that the legendary star of Friday the 13th would be making his debut in Fortnitemares 2025 event. But until now, we have only seen hints of his arrival.
Today, however, the latest teaser for the upcoming Fortnitemares event has revealed that the arrival of Jason Vorhees and his lethal machete skills is imminent. In the teaser, every character gets their chance to shine. But slicing his way through the hallway of the haunted house, brandishing his razor-sharp weapon, is Mrs Voorhees’ baby boy in all his glory. Check it out below.
THE SKIN
The set has been officially confirmed to include two emotes, an interchangeable machete/hatchet pickaxe, a weapon wrap, and a Camp Crystal Lake life preserver. The skin closely resembles the legendary slasher, featuring his iconic hockey mask.
The first emote shows Jason pointing at the calendar while holding his signature weapon. The second emote depicts Jason using his machete to propel himself across the water in the boat from the original film. Take a look at the set below.
It is wonderful to see Jason Voorhees finally making his debut on the map. Fans are buzzing with excitement over the possibility of adding Jason to their collection, especially after Halloween’s Michael Myers proved to be a runaway hit with horror fans. Plus, with Ghost Face, the Grabber, and Art the Clown all bolstering the horror ranks in 2025, Fortnitemares is more stacked than ever!
RELEASE
The new Fortnite x Friday the 13th collaboration is expected to land in the item shop on October 17th. So be sure to make space in your inventory for Friday the 13th’s iconic slasher. Sadly, Fortnite has yet to reveal the pricing structure for the set, but we’ll bring you that as soon as we have confirmation. In the meantime, fans can visit Jason in the Camp Crystal Lake-inspired POI on the map and be stalked by Jason himself. Just be sure to duck, because he attacks players with his machete on sight.
