You can only choose one. That’s the tagline for the upcoming movie, Eternity. The romantic comedy is due to arrive in cinemas in November from A24. Directed by David Freyne and written by Pat Cunnane, the film stars Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, Callum Turner, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, John Early, and Olga Merediz. In an afterlife where souls have one week to decide where to spend eternity, Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) is faced with the impossible choice between the man she spent her life with (Miles Teller) and her first love (Callum Turner), who died young and has waited decades for her to arrive. The new trailer for the film has descended from above. Let’s see what we can expect.
THE PREMISE
After death, everybody gets one week to choose where to spend eternity. For Joan, Larry, and Luke, it’s really a question of who to spend it with. Joan must choose between her first love, who got away, or the man she built her life with.
