At long last, Netflix has dropped the first trailer for the long-awaited TROLL 2. The sequel is the follow-up to the runaway streaming smash from December 2022, where a colossal Troll awakened from its long slumber and began rampaging across Norway. The film was a global smash hit with legions of fantasy fans eating well over the festive period. But today, the streamer has dropped the trailer for the sequel, and it promises to be a banger.
But what can we expect from the sequel? More Mayhem? More Threats and even deadlier Trolls? You’ve come to the right place if that’s what you expect from the film. The film looks like another visual treat in the same vein as the MonsterVerse movies. Plus, with most of the original cast returning, the streamer promises a thrilling MONSTER MASH. SYNOPSIS
When a dangerous new troll is awakened, unleashing devastation across Norway, beloved adventurers Nora, Andreas and Captain Kris are thrust into their most perilous mission yet. To stop the creature’s ruthless rampage, they must enlist new allies and delve into the country’s ancient history, searching for answers. As the clock ticks and the troll’s path of destruction grows wider, our heroes face impossible odds in their fight to save their homeland from falling into darkness.

What a phenomenal new trailer. It’s giving off some legit Godzilla x Kong vibes. The original Troll was an absolute blast, so fans of the film will be buzzing about the sequel. Like the original, Troll 2 is heading our way on December 1st, so we can all look forward to a Christmas season with another monster mayhem banger. With its imaginative storyline, impressive visual effects, and some brilliant production design, the film looks like another gem.
