Look out, Simpsons fans, because the Fortnite x The Simpsons season just got graffiti by the infamous El Barto!
Look out, Simpsons fans, because the Fortnite website just got plastered in graffiti at the hands of El Barto. With the new Fortnite x The Simpsons season right around the corner, a treasure trove of teasers from Epic Games has emerged over the weekend. Just days after the season’s key art arrived, Bart’s Treehouse has appeared on the map. Plus, Kang and Kodos’s flying saucer has appeared alongside the Battle Bus. But overnight, the legendary El Barto took over Epic Games’ website and plastered graffiti everywhere. As a result, the Fortnitemares season changed to Fartnitemares! Take a look at the website’s header below.

BATTLE PASS
What a hilarious takeover! You’ve got to hand it to Fortnite; they know how to handle a collaboration, which only makes us more excited for the new Battle Pass. Thanks to the big reveal, we now know which characters will be getting the Fortnite treatment. As expected, Homer, Marge, and Ned Flanders are all headlining the new pass. However, in the traditional fashion, Epic Games is throwing in a bunch of its characters into the mix for the remix treatment. This has divided the playerbase. Some are bemoaning that the pass isn’t dedicated exclusively to legitimate Springfield characters. But this is Fortnite we’re talking about. Even the recent Star Wars season wasn’t immune to the remix treatment. There were woeful remix skins handed out to Apprentice Evie and a Wookiee Team Leader.
The Simpsons Battle Pass is no different. The collection of skins includes a remix version of Peely, redesigned in the classic The Simpsons animation style, and a three-eyed version of Fishstick.

ITEM SHOP DROPS
Bart and Lisa Simpson, Moe, Krusty, Scratchy, and the rumored Mr Burns skins are all expected to be in the item shop releases. So players will have to start saving their V-Bucks accordingly, which is a tough ask after the massive Fortnitemares season collaborations. In recent weeks, The Grabber, Jason Voorhees, Art the Clown, Ghost Face, Scooby-Doo, and Wednesday Addams have all been released. These releases cost a small fortune. So, players will be bracing themselves for another costly release.

RELEASE
Of course, until Epic Games reveals the Battle Pass in full, this is all just speculation. But the leakers are rarely wrong, so brace yourself for another massive season. With the entire map being transformed into Springfield for the season, Epic Games could make this collaboration one of the biggest to date. So we could be in line for a massive character drop, and there is a treasure trove of characters to choose from. Could Principal Skinner or Chief Wiggum be joining the map? Is there room for Comicbook Guy to yell, “Worst game ever?” All will be revealed soon, but in the meantime, players should look out for where El Barto will strike next!
Check back often for the latest updates as they come. In the meantime, prepare to return to Springfield for a meeting with The Simpsons.
The Fortnite x The Simpsons season gets underway on November 2nd. D’oh! Happy gaming!
