THE UK TOP TEN

This week sees four titles re-enter the chart placings. We also have an old favourite returning to take the top spot. What could it be? Jump aboard your broomstick as we find out.

Official Film Chart

(1) WICKED

This week, Wicked soars to the top of the Official Film Chart, claiming the Number 1 spot after rising from last week’s Number 6. The spellbinding reimagining of the untold story of the witches of Oz continues to enchant audiences with its stunning visuals, powerful performances from Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, and spectacular soundtrack. The sequel, Wicked: For Good, arrives in cinemas worldwide from 21st November.

Somewhere over the rainbow, the Witches of Oz are feeling mischievously Wicked. Check out the new poster for Universal's enchanting musical.

(2) SUPERMAN

At Number 2, Superman (2025) continues to fly high after dropping one place from last week’s top spot. James Gunn’s bold reintroduction of the Man of Steel, led by David Corenswet, delivers a fresh take on hope, heroism, and heart for a new generation of fans.

(3) JURASSIC WORLD: REBIRTH

Charging into Number 3, Jurassic World – Rebirth roars with prehistoric power as dinosaurs once again take over the big screen. The latest entry in the blockbuster franchise promises thrilling action and jaw-dropping effects, keeping the legacy of Jurassic Park alive.

(4) NOBODY 2

Nobody 2 makes an impressive re-entry at Number 4, bringing back the explosive action fans have been waiting for.

(5) HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

Family favourite How to Train Your Dragon (2025) continues to charm at Number 5, up 11 places.

(6) DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE

Period drama fans rejoice as Downton Abbey – The Grand Finale enjoys a graceful ascent to Number 6, moving up one place from last week.

(7) MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE- THE FINAL RECKONING

Ethan Hunt races back into the action with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, landing at Number 7.

(8) THE FANTASTIC FOUR-FIRST STEPS

Superhero spectacle The Fantastic Four – First Steps lands at Number 8, introducing Marvel’s iconic team to a new cinematic era. With its blend of science, heart, and heroism, it’s a fresh beginning for one of Marvel’s most beloved groups.

(9) WEAPONS

Weapons drops to Number 9 but continues to draw intrigue with its chilling and unconventional storytelling. From director Zach Cregger, it’s a genre-defying thriller that keeps audiences guessing.

(10) THE GRINCH (ANIMATED)

Finally, festive favourite The Grinch (Animated) sneaks into the Top 10, leaping up 17 places to Number 10. With Benedict Cumberbatch voicing the iconic green grouch, the colourful retelling of Dr Seuss’s classic continues to delight families as the holiday season approaches.
