Starring and executive produced by Anne Hathaway, and written by Bash Doran, Fear Not will premiere on Paramount+ in 2027.
The Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway (Les Misérables, The Devil Wears Prada, The Dark Knight Rises, Interstellar) will star in and executive-produce FEAR NOT. Bash Doran, known for her work on Outlaw King and Boardwalk Empire, writes the limited series. It will premiere around the world on Paramount+ next year.
THE PREMISE
FEAR NOT tells the story of a prolific serial killer, Stephen Morin — accused of more crimes than Ted Bundy — and the unlikely bond he formed with Margy Palm (Anne Hathaway), the last woman he ever kidnapped. Morin’s abduction of Palm, which started as a deadly captive situation, took an unlikely turn. Specifically, it was one which included compassion, prayer and profound courage. Palm’s devotion to her faith was remarkable. Her insistence that Morin could be transformed sparked a relationship that continued long after Palm returned to safety. This relationship continued until Morin received the death penalty.

MGM Television produces FEAR NOT, with Bash Doran as the writer. The executive producers include Steve Stark and Stacey Levin from Toluca Pictures, Helen Estabrook for Vanity Fair Studios, and Anne Hathaway, Adam Shulman, and Johnathan Rice for Somewhere Pictures, along with Margy, Bart, and Noelle Palm. The limited series is based on the Vanity Fair article entitled “Sympathy for the Devil” written by Julie Miller.
Anne Hathaway also has Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Odyssey, Verity and Flowervale Street coming out in 2026.
