Apple TV Debuts The Pulse-Pounding Trailer For Star City

Set in the world of For All Mankind, Apple TV debuts the pulse-pounding official trailer for the new space-race drama, Star City.

Apple TV has debuted the gripping trailer for “Star City,”, the highly anticipated new space race drama. It expands the world of “For All Mankind,” from award-winning creators Ben Nedivi, Matt Wolpert and Ronald D. Moore. The bold, eight-episode alt-history series will debut globally on Apple TV with two episodes on Friday, May 29. Then, one new episode will air every Friday through July 10.

THE PREMISE

“Star City” is a propulsive paranoid thriller that takes us back to the key moment in the alt-history retelling of the space race. That moment is when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. But this time, we explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain. The show details the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers, and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program. Finally, it explores the risks they all took to propel humankind forward.

THE CAST

The series stars Rhys Ifans (“House of the Dragon”), Anna Maxwell Martin (“Motherland”), Agnes O’Casey (“Black Doves”), Alice Englert (“Bad Behaviour”), Solly McLeod (“House of the Dragon”), Adam Nagaitis (“Chernobyl”), Ruby Ashbourne Serkis (“I, Jack Wright”), Josef Davies (“Andor”) and Priya Kansara (“Bridgerton”).

BEHIND THE SCENES

“Star City” comes from the creative minds of Nedivi, Wolpert, and Moore. Wolpert and Nedivi take charge as showrunners and executive producers, collaborating with Moore and Maril Davis from Tall Ship Productions, along with Andrew Chambliss and Steve Oster. Sony Pictures Television produces “Star City” for Apple TV.
