Get ready to wince one last time. Those boys and girls from the legendary (and quite frankly, completely bats**t crazy) series Jackass return for one last ride this summer. The fifth and final main film in the franchise is coming. Jackass: Best And Last will be hitting cinema screens where it hurts on June 26th. As you would expect with a title like that, the film is a mixture of bringing back classic stunts and pranks. Additionally, it also contains new stunts. There is never before seen footage in this new film as well.
Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Wee Man, Preston Lacy, Dave England, and Danger Ehren, along with Poopies, Zach Holmes, Jasper Dolphin, and Rachel Wolfson all return for this final chapter. They are joined by Jasper’s father Dark Shark, who will have a main role this time around. The trailer for the film has hit us in the feels. It has also been released today. Hold onto yourselves!
THE PREMISE
Johnny Knoxville and the gang return for one final fling at the big screen. Featuring all-new stunts and stupidity along with the greatest hits and biggest laughs from the past, jackass: best and last is a joyously raucous celebration of all the mischievous camaraderie that you’ve come to love and expect from these idiots over the past 25 years. So, grab your dumb little buddies and raise your glasses. Come experience the cinematic event that promises to be the last time you’ll ever laugh this hard in a theatre.
Some of the new stunts include Steve-O getting a painful prostate exam from a robot named Larry, Poopies putting a shock collar on his penis, and an “escape room from hell” that punishes everyone’s bodies.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Jeff Tremaine returns behind the camera to direct the proceedings. He also produces the film alongside Spike Jonze, Johnny Knoxville, and Shanna Newton. The executive producers of this final set of craziness are Greg Iguchi, Pete Chiappetta, Anthony Tittanegro, and Andrew Lary. The film also features guest appearances from Loomis Fall, Tory Belleci, and Adam Ray.
