MGM+ reunites us with The Artist and gets to grips with an American Classic in its May highlights. Get ready for more Outlander and an expanding library of content.
It’s time for our monthly check-in with the team at MGM+ to find out what’s streaming in May 2026. With April now crossed off the calendar, the streamer is unveiling some hidden gems to keep us entertained during the early Summer nights. And, indeed, they have a lineup worthy of your subscription this month. With a selection of juicy new titles releasing throughout the month and another bumper crop of new additions to its library to enjoy, MGM+ is definitely the place to be as we continue to plow through the second quarter of 2026. Get ready to update your May watchlist as we review a month of fresh titles.

NEW RELEASES
After unleashing the final season of Outlander, one can be forgiven for thinking that the streamer would be easing back on the big releases, but you’d be dead wrong. MGM+’s carefully curated catalog of May releases is like an early Summer cocktail. The streaming service practically invites us to stay in with new releases, including the final episodes of Outlander, American Classic, and The Artist. Sounds like a banger, right?
NEW ADDITIONS TO THE MGM+ LIBRARY
But thankfully, the fun doesn’t end there. There is a bounty of new additions coming to the streamer throughout the month, and they are littered with Hollywood royalty. The month starts with The Rocky Catalog, The Addams Family, Tomb Raider, and Teen Wolf. Rounding out the month’s new additions are Raging Bull and the iconic The Silence of the Lambs. The Artist – Launch Date: 1st May
In the twilight of the Gilded Age an eccentric, failing tycoon, and his brilliant wife host an ensemble of the era’s biggest celebrities including Thomas Edison, Edgar Degas, and Evelyn Nesbit. The gathering turns deadly.
WEEKLY ORIGINALS
Outlander: Season 8– Launch Date: New episodes every Saturday until 16th May, with a skip week on 2nd May
As Season Eight begins, Jamie and Claire soon find the war has followed them home to Fraser’s Ridge, now a thriving settlement that has grown and flourished in their absence. With new arrivals and changes made during their years away, the Frasers are confronted with the question of what they are willing to sacrifice for the place they call home and, more importantly, what they would sacrifice to stay together.
America Classic – Launch Date: New episodes every Saturday until 23rd May
American Classic tells the story of Broadway star Richard Bean who suffers a spectacular public meltdown and returns home to the family theater where he first became aware of his own brilliance. Once there, his extreme behavior sets off a series of crises among those closest to him: his ex-girlfriend (now the town’s mayor) married to his brother, his brother himself, and his beloved niece who dreams of a life in the theater. As old loves resurface and buried secrets emerge, Richard must confront the consequences of his past actions and the family and town he left behind.
