Fortnite x Star Wars: A Galaxy of New Star Wars Content is Coming to Fortnite in May!

Get ready, Fortnite Star Wars fans, because new game modes and new characters from The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, and Grogu are coming to Fortnite throughout May.
Look out, Fortnite Star Wars fans, because the big month-long Star Wars event has been revealed. With Star Wars Day right around the corner and The Mandalorian and Grogu hitting cinemas in a few weeks, Epic Games and Lucasfilm have finally revealed what we can expect to arrive on the map throughout the month. And, if you were hoping for new skins, sidekicks, and a treasure trove of new game modes, you’re in luck.
Today, Lucasfilm and Epic Games revealed that a new collaboration featuring Ahsoka Tano and Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars: The Clone Wars will arrive in the item shop on May 1st. These glorious new skins will feature the series’ famous animation style and come with a host of cool cosmetics. Read about the new skins here.
But thankfully, these are just the tip of the lightsaber. A new Pen and Ink version of The Mandalorian will debut in the shop on May 21st, alongside a new BDX Droid Sidekick. What’s more, Epic has confirmed that hundreds of new Star Wars games are coming to Fortnite, including three new games from Epic and Lucasfilm: Droid Tycoon, Escape Vader, and Galactic Siege.
NEW MAPS, NEW HEROES, NEW VILLAINS!
Starting May 1, hundreds of these islands will go live, and Fortnite will be the only place where you can come together with friends to race tauntauns through icy tracks, run a bustling cantina on Tatooine, pilot a T-65B X-wing starfighter, and go on imaginative Star Wars adventures.
- Galactic Siege (developed with JOGO Studios, island code: 5003-9856-3648) – Fight in large-scale PvP class-based battles with 10v10 combat across iconic Star Wars planets.
- Escape Vader (made with Beyond Creative, island code: 7285-4185-5428) – Hide, run, and try to survive in this 4-player co-op game where you attempt to escape the terrifying Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
- Droid Tycoon (created with FOAD, island code: 7865-8305-9184) – Build and customize droids using authentic Star Wars blueprints, manage your workshop and factory systems, and unlock rare components and special missions.
New Star Wars Quests will start rolling out tomorrow and every week in May. Complete them in any Star Wars games to earn free rewards.
THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU
On May 19 at 10am ET, you’re invited to The Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island to see a special message from Jon Favreau and get a 10-minute sneak peek of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu ahead of the theatrical release on May 22.
Created with Fairview Portals and Beyond Creative, you’ll be recruited as a Deputy to collect bounties, defend the city from waves of enemies, and find Grogu. Once you’ve spent 20 minutes exploring Nevarro you’ll unlock the exclusive Mandalorian Sanctuary loading screen!
On May 26, meet in the island’s amphitheater to watch a Q&A with Jon Favreau for answers to community questions about the film and making of The Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island.
NEW LEGO SETS AND FREE COSMETICS
As mentioned above, new and returning Star Wars Outfits and items will be rotating through the Shop all month long. LEGO Fortnite Odyssey gets its own Star Wars update on May 14 with the new Hover Brick, hover vehicles, Mando and Grogu, and Star Wars enemies.
