Here’s everything we know so far about the Fortnite x American Dad collaboration, including skins and release details.
Good morning, USA! Fortnite’s next major crossover has officially been revealed. Following a string of high-profile collaborations, Epic Games is bringing American Dad to the Island, with Stan Smith set to join the game as a playable character. But that’s not all, Francine Smith is also joining her husband in the item shop, making this a couple’s affair!
The unexpected crossover adds another animated icon to Fortnite’s ever-growing collection of guest characters, and players are already excited to see what comes with the collaboration. While Francine’s bundle remains encrypted for now, leakers have dug through the game files and uncovered Stan Smith’s bundle contents. If you’re a fan of the long-running animated series, there’s plenty to look forward to. What’s more, the set drops into the item shop very soon!
STAN SMITH
The set packs in plenty of extra details for fans of the show, including both Stan and Francine Smith skins, along with themed items like the Klaus & Terror Threat Meter backblings, the “Good Morning USA” jam track and emote, plus the Purse pickaxe and #1 Dad foam finger. On top of that, Stan will even appear in-game as an NPC you can interact with on the map. Things get even funnier if you run into him while playing as Peter Griffin — Stan has a special line of dialogue where he says, “We’ve met before… I shot you, right?”
RELEASE
Sadly, Epic Games has yet to confirm the expected shop price for this bundle, but this is fantastic news. After Family Guy, The Simpsons, Futurama, and King of the Hill, it is great to see the animated collection expand with American Dad. With Stan and Francine joining the Island, along with Klaus as a back bling, players are already speculating about who could come next. Roger the alien feels like an obvious pick for a future skin or sidekick, while Hayley, Jeff, or even Rogu could easily fit into Fortnite’s chaotic roster.
All in all, the American Dad crossover is another fun win for Fortnite’s ever-growing lineup of animated collabs. It’s got a good mix of skins, cosmetics, and in-game extras that keep things entertaining without taking itself too seriously. Whether you’re going for the full bundle or just picking out a few favorites, it’s an easy one to get excited about when it hits the Item Shop.
