Fortnite x The Simpsons: The First Trailer Takes Us Back to Springfield!

Get ready to head back to Springfield. The first trailer for the upcoming Fortnite x The Simpsons season has been revealed!
Are you ready for the Fortnite x The Simpsons season? After last week’s teaser, Epic Games has released the first trailer for the new season, and it promises to be a banger. We’ve known for a while that a map dedicated to The Simpsons was locked in for the end of 2025. But today, we can officially reveal our first look at the new season, as well as the new Battle Pass that’ll take us back to Springfield and beyond! But before we stop off for a Krusty Burger, check out the first trailer below.
Last week, we revealed the artwork showing which characters will be making their way to Springfield Island. The art shows that Bart and Lisa Simpson will be joining the battle in mech-suits, which bypasses the scaling issue. Homer and Marge will also be included, as well as Moe, Krusty the Clown, and Ned Flanders. Itchy and Scratchy are also teased, but are unconfirmed at this point, although Scratchy is featured in the artwork. Get your first look below.
BATTLE PASS
In addition to the key art, the Battle Pass skin lineup has been revealed. As expected, Homer, Marge, and Ned Flanders are all headlining the new pass. However, in the traditional fashion, Epic Games is throwing in a bunch of its characters into the mix for the remix treatment. This has divided the playerbase, with some bemoaning that the pass isn’t dedicated exclusively to legitimate Springfield characters. But this is Fortnite we’re talking about. Even the recent Star Wars season wasn’t immune to the remix treatment, with woeful remix skins handed out to Apprentice Evie and a Wookiee Team Leader.
The Simpsons Battle Pass is no different. The collection of skins includes a remix version of Peely, redesigned in the classic The Simpsons animation style, and a three-eyed version of Fishstick.
IN-GAME ACTION
Drop from the Battle Bus into… Springfield? The 80-player Springfield Island features a fast-paced, back-to-basics Battle Royale experience straight from the minds behind The Simpsons. Giant donuts will fall from the sky and angry clones will roam the streets, but don’t worry, Homer Simpson is in charge. Check out Delulu for new Simpsons weapons during the Season and prepare for a month of gags, gadgets, and Simpsons animated shorts!
Battle in cel-shaded Springfield as one of the locals! The Springfield Battle Pass includes Outfits as premium rewards including Homer, Marge, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely.
This Battle Pass has Fortnite’s first Sidekick: Peels! Peels is the exclusive Sidekick until more arrive in the Shop on November 7.

ITEM SHOP DROPS
Bart and Lisa Simpson, Moe, Krusty, Scratchy, and the rumored Mr Burns skins are all expected to be in the item shop releases. So players will have to start saving their V-Bucks accordingly, which is a tough ask after the massive Fortnitemares season collaborations. In recent weeks, The Grabber, Jason Voorhees, Art the Clown, Ghost Face, Scooby-Doo, Wednesday Addams, and a new Xenomorph have all been released, costing a small fortune. So, players will be bracing themselves for another costly release.
RELEASE
With the entire map being transformed into Springfield for the season, Epic Games could make this collaboration one of the biggest to date. So we could be in line for a massive character drop, and there is a treasure trove of characters to choose from. Could Principal Skinner or Chief Wiggum be joining the map? Is there room for Comicbook Guy to yell, “Worst game ever?” All will be revealed soon. Until then, check out the full “Welcome, Our Alien Overlords” animated feature below.
