Paramount+ reveals that actress Krysten Ritter will return as Mia in a guest star role in season two of their hit series Dexter: Resurrection.
Paramount+ has announced that Krysten Ritter will return as a guest star in the upcoming second season of Dexter: Resurrection. In season one, Ritter played ‘Mia’ aka ‘Lady Vengeance,’ a serial killer by night and sommelier by day. She played a fan-favorite character, the vivacious and voracious Lady Vengeance. Consequently, the character met her demise while in prison.
In addition to Ritter, the previously announced season two cast will also include Brian Cox as ‘The New York Ripper.’ Uma Thurman will reprise her role as ‘Charley.’ Additionally, Dan Stevens will play ‘The Five Borough Killer.’ Bokeem Woodbine will play “Capt. Mixon,” and Nona Parker Johnson will play ‘Fiona Mixon.’
From Emmy-nominated showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips, the series stars SAG and Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall (Dexter, Six Feet Under) in the titular role of Dexter Morgan.
Dexter: Resurrection comes from Paramount Television Studios and Counterpart Studios, with Emmy nominee Clyde Phillips leading as the executive producer and showrunner. Michael C. Hall, Scott Reynolds, Marcos Siega, Tony Hernandez, and Lilly Burns also take on executive producer roles. The team includes additional executive producers John Goldwyn and Sara Colleton, along with Veronica West, Kirsa Rein, Tanner Bean, and Katrina Mathewson.

ABOUT THE ACTRESS
A multi-faceted actress with an impressive body of work across all media, Krysten Ritter is best known for starring as ‘Jessica Jones’ in the award-winning original series, “Marvel’s Jessica Jones.” Ritter’s performance was nominated for a Critics’ Choice Award for “Best Actress in Drama Series.” Furthermore, the series received the prestigious Peabody Award in entertainment. Ritter reprised her role in the event series Marvel’s Defenders and Daredevil: Born Again.
Ritter’s starring roles also include the BAFTA-nominated true-crime limited series Love and Death, Don’t Trust the B—— in Apartment 23, and her pivotal role as Jane Margolis in the Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning series Breaking Bad. Behind the camera, Ritter recently served as co-executive producer. She also directed the first four episodes of the Girl in the Woods.
Ritter can currently be seen starring across from Kiernan Shipka in the indie feature, Stone Cold Fox. Other film work includes Tim Burton’s Big Eyes, Listen Up Phillip, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Nightbooks, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, and Paramount Pictures’ SONIC 3.

Her theater credits include Neil LaBute’s Heart of the Matter, Zach Braff’s All New People, Rajiv Joseph’s All This Intimacy, and the 24 Hour Plays.
Ritter’s critically acclaimed debut thriller novel, Bonfire, and follow-up Retreat, were bestsellers. The TV adaptation, which Ritter will produce and star in, is currently in development. Her third novel will be released in 2027.
Ritter is also the founder of Silent Machine, a production company that aims to highlight complex female protagonists.
