WHAT’S HOT ON HOME ENTERTAINMENT
This week sees four new entries into the chart. We also have a brand new number one title. But what are these new entries, where have they entered, and what is now decorating the top spot in stylish chic? Put on your best dress as we find out.
(1) THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2
The Devil Wears Prada 2 makes a stylish debut at Number 1 on this week’s Official Film Chart. The hotly anticipated sequel to the beloved fashion-world favorite sees the return of the razor-sharp world of Runway magazine, as Miranda Priestly, Andy Sachs, and Emily Charlton navigate shifting power dynamics, changing careers, and the evolving future of traditional publishing.
(2) MICHAEL
The Devil Wears Prada 2‘s arrival ends Michael’s three-week reign at the summit, with the Michael Jackson biopic dropping one place to Number 2 this week. The Universal Pictures release continues to perform strongly on home entertainment, charting the life, legacy, and musical impact of one of pop’s most influential entertainers.
(3) OBSESSION
There is another new entry at Number 3 for Obsession, the supernatural horror film centered on a young man whose wish for the love of his childhood best friend spirals into something much darker. Blending romance, co-dependency, and horror, the film brings an unsettling new addition to this week’s Top 10.
(4) AVATAR-FIRE AND ASH
Avatar – Fire and Ash drops one place to Number 4, continuing the success of James Cameron’s blockbuster sci-fi franchise. Set once again on Pandora, the film follows Jake Sully and his family as they face new threats, expanding the world of Avatar with further spectacle, conflict, and emotional stakes.
(5) SUPERMAN
Superman (2025) climbs two places to Number 5. James Gunn’s reboot of the iconic DC hero sees Clark Kent balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his life on Earth, as he is forced to confront new challenges while proving what Superman means to a changing world.
(6) MORTAL KOMBAT II
Mortal Kombat 2 (2026) holds strong inside the Top 10 at Number 6. The action-packed sequel continues the battle for Earthrealm, bringing back the franchise’s brutal tournament combat, fan-favorite fighters, and high-stakes fantasy mythology.
(7) PROJECT HAIL MARY
After spending recent weeks inside the Top 2, Project Hail Mary drops five places to Number 7. Based on Andy Weir’s bestselling novel, the sci-fi adventure follows a lone astronaut on a desperate mission to save Earth from extinction, combining big-screen spectacle with a story of survival, science, and unexpected companionship.

(8) THE DESCENT
At Number 8, The Descent enters the chart, bringing claustrophobic horror to this week’s Top 10. The cult British horror follows a group of women who venture into an uncharted cave system, only for their expedition to become a terrifying fight for survival against something lurking in the darkness.
(9) THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE
Former chart-topper The Super Mario Galaxy Movie falls one place to Number 9. The animated family adventure continues the big-screen success of Nintendo’s beloved characters, sending Mario and friends into a colorful cosmic journey packed with action, humor, and nostalgia.
(10) MORTAL KOMBAT/ MORTAL KOMBAT II
Finally, Mortal Kombat/Mortal Kombat II debuts at Number 10, giving fans the chance to revisit the franchise’s earlier big-screen battles. The collection rounds out a strong week for the Mortal Kombat universe, with both the latest sequel and classic films appearing in this week’s Official Film Chart Top 10.
