Welcome to The Official Film Chart.
THE OFFICIAL UK TOP TEN ON HOME ENTERTAINMENT
This week sees one new entry and two re-entries into the chart positions. We also have a brand new number one title. What could it be? Let’s go to infinity and beyond as we find out.

(1) TOY STORY 5
Toy Story 5 debuts straight at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart this week. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the gang return for their fifth big-screen adventure, but this time the toys face a very different kind of threat to playtime. When Bonnie receives a new tablet named Lilypad, the arrival of technology begins to challenge the role her beloved toys play in her life. Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack reprise their roles alongside Greta Lee as Lilypad in the Disney and Pixar sequel.

(2) OBSESSION
Horror hit Obsession continues its strong run, climbing three places to a new peak of Number 2. Curry Barker’s film follows hopeless romantic Bear, whose attempt to use the mysterious One Wish Willow to make his crush fall in love with him succeeds – only for his dream romance to take an increasingly sinister turn.

(3) MINIONS & MONSTERS
Minions & Monsters is also on the rise, moving one place to Number 3. Illumination’s animated adventure follows the Minions as they conquer 1920s Hollywood and become movie stars, before their fortunes change and an attempt to make their own monster movie unleashes very real creatures into the world.

(4) MICHAEL
After five non-consecutive weeks at the summit, Michael slips three places to Number 4.

(5) STAR WARS-THE MANDALORIAN AND GROGU
Star Wars: The Mandalorian & Grogu climbs three places to Number 5.

(6) BACKROOMS
Making one of this week’s biggest moves is Backrooms, which surges 11 places from Number 17 to Number 6. Directed by Kane Parsons and starring Chiwetel Ejiofor and Renate Reinsve, the horror film begins when a mysterious doorway appears in the basement of a furniture showroom, opening the way to a strange and unsettling world beyond.

(7) THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE
Former Number 1, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie holds steady at Number 7.

(8) TROY
Historical epic Troy returns to the Top 10, climbing three places to Number 8.

(9) PROJECT HAIL MARY
Project Hail Mary falls seven places to Number 9 following its return at Number 2 last week.

(10) SCARY MOVIE
Comedy-horror Scary Movie (2026) also drops seven to round out this week’s Top 10 at Number 10.
