Street Fighter fans, look out: Ryu and Chun-Li from the Street Fighter movie are coming to K.O Battle Royale!
With the all-new Street Fighter movie just days away from hitting cinemas, Fortnite players have been hoping for a new collaboration featuring the movie versions of their favorite fighters. The film hits the big screen on October 16, with Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li taking prominent roles. Now, Epic Games has answered the call and made those dreams a reality by announcing brand-new versions of Ryu and Chun-Li for the Item Shop!
Arriving in the Item Shop on October 10, the new Fortnite x Street Fighter bundle will give these legendary fighters a fresh new look inspired by their upcoming cinematic adventure. Sadly, there’s still no sign of Ken Masters or any of the other iconic fighters appearing in the movie. But hey, we’ll take what we can get!
Ryu arrives with a sinister Dark Ryu variant that bears more than a passing resemblance to his big-screen counterpart, Andrew Koji. Meanwhile, Chun-Li gets a single new Outfit, but it makes up for its lack of variants with a photorealistic likeness to Callina Liang. The new skins look seriously impressive, so check them out below and get ready to take the fight to the island!
ROUND ONE: FIGHT!
Sadly, Epic Games hasn’t revealed the price structure for these new skins, but thanks to regular leaker HYPEX, we now know which accessories Ryu and Chun-Li come with. Chun-Li comes with an Invitation Token Backbling, Nunchaku Pickaxe, and a Car Smash Emote. Ryu, on the other hand, comes with a Hadouken-to-go Backbling, Hado Fists Pickaxe, and the Dark Ryu variant. The set is rounded out by a Ready. Set. Fight emoticon. Check out the set below.

There you have it, Street Fighter fans. You asked, and Epic Games, Capcom, and Paramount Pictures have answered! New variants of Ryu and Chun-Li are a long-awaited victory for fans, and with the movie just around the corner, their arrival couldn’t be better timed. Hadouken!
The new Fortnite x Street Fighter bundle lands in the Item Shop on October 10, giving players plenty of time to prepare for the movie’s arrival. Then, on October 16, the brand-new Street Fighter movie kicks its way into cinemas everywhere.
So, grab your gloves, choose your fighter, and get ready to take the fight to the island!
