Sony Pictures has officially unveiled the first posters for Jumanji: Open World starring Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan.
Look out, Jumanji fans, because Sony Pictures has just rolled the dice and unleashed a pair of stunning new posters for Jumanji: Open World! We’ve known for a while that the next adventure was heading our way for the festive season, and after the first trailer teased a gloriously chaotic clash of worlds as the game spills into modern suburbia, our excitement has been firmly in the danger zone!
But the fun doesn’t stop there! Two brand-new posters have now emerged from the game board, and they’re giving us another reason to grab our virtual backpacks and prepare for adventure. The first one-sheet brings our heroic team into focus, offering a fresh look at the characters tasked with tackling this bold new chapter in the franchise.
And the second? Well, it’s more of the same glorious Jumanji madness, but with a festive twist! After all, nothing says Christmas quite like a dangerous game, a world turned upside down, and a whole lot of chaos waiting to be unleashed.

In addition to returning stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan, the film features a strong supporting cast. Returning cast members include Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Ser’Darius Blaine, Morgan Turner, Bebe Neuwirth, Danny DeVito, Lamorne Morris, Marin Hinkle, Nick Jonas, Awkwafina, and Rhys Darby. There are also new additions. These include Brittany O’Grady, Burn Gorman, Dan Hildebrand, and Jack Jewkes.
RELEASE
Despite receiving mixed responses from fans and critics, the rebooted Jumanji saga has been nothing short of a box-office phenomenon. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle swung its way to an astonishing $962 million worldwide, while its follow-up, Jumanji: The Next Level, added another $800 million to the franchise’s impressive tally in 2019.
With those numbers in mind, it’s easy to see why Sony Pictures is rolling the dice on another adventure. The studio will be hoping the latest installment can continue the franchise’s remarkable box office winning streak when it arrives in cinemas this Christmas.
Jumanji: Open World was originally expected to premiere on December 11, 2026. However, given the clash with Dune Part 3 and Avengers: Doomsday, Sony pushed the release back to Christmas Day in the US. The UK release date is set for December 23rd.
