Three New Dune: Part Three Posters Emerge From the Sands of Arrakis!

Three new posters for DUNE PART THREE have arrived. From Dolby to IMAX, it’s time to head back to Arrakis!

We’re just under two months away from returning to Arrakis in DUNE: PART THREE, and the hype train is firing up its engines! Denis Villeneuve’s long-awaited threequel is emerging from the sand dunes and heading for cinemas this December. And despite going head-to-head with Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday, the excitement shows no signs of slowing down, with fans already dubbing this epic box-office showdown Dunesday!

But if you thought the battle for cinematic supremacy couldn’t get any more exciting, think again! Warner Bros. has just cranked up the hype by unleashing three gorgeous new posters for Dune: Part Three, and Arrakis has never looked more spectacular.

The first, courtesy of IMAX, puts Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides in the path of a colossal Sandworm as it charges towards him through a swirling cloud of dust. The second, brought to us by Dolby, takes a more regal approach, showcasing Atreides seated upon his magnificent emerald throne. And finally, the third poster delivers a striking studio design, featuring the iconic Dune logo flipped vertically as Atreides traverses the unforgiving sands.

Three posters, three stunning designs, and one mighty reason to get excited about our return to Arrakis! Excited yet? We certainly are! So, prepare to ride the sandworms, pledge your allegiance, and feast your eyes on these glorious new one-sheets below. The spice must flow!

SYNOPSIS

Emperor Paul Atreides faces the consequences of his reign as old allies return, terrifying new threats emerge, and betrayal lurks in every shadow. Haunted by visions of Imperial collapse and the reappearance of his long-lost love, he gets drawn into a sweeping conspiracy, with Chani at the heart of its unfolding mystery. As rebellion brews and enemies close in, Paul must confront the true cost of power and the fate of those he loves the most.

CAST & CREW

In addition to Chalamet as Paul Atreides, the sequel also features the return of Zendaya as Chani, Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, and Robert Pattinson as Scytale, a key figure in the conspiracy to overthrow Paul. Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke are playing Leto II and Ghanima, the twin children of Paul and Chani.

Director Denis Vilenurve recently said the film “takes place like 12 years after where we left the characters at the end of Part Two. Their journey, their story is different this time, and that’s why I always say that while it’s the same world, it’s a new film with new circumstances.” He also confirmed that it “will finish the Paul Atreides arc.“

RELEASE

Although production is all but finished, details about the film’s plot remain firmly buried beneath the sands of Arrakis. However, the clues hidden within the official synopsis suggest that Denis Villeneuve’s epic threequel will adapt Frank Herbert’s 1969 novel Dune Messiah, bringing Paul Atreides’ story full circle. If that’s the case, we could be in for a spectacular conclusion to Villeneuve’s sci-fi saga. So buckle up, Dune fans, because this trilogy looks set to go out with a mighty bang!

Dune: Part Three is slated to hit cinemas on December 18, currently the same day as Avengers: Doomsday. So get ready for a monumental Christmas! Are you a fan of the new posters? Drop a comment in the chat below.
