The Doctor has regenerated in more ways than one!
The evolution of the latest incarnation of the Doctor has been more divisive than any other in recent memory. The reinvention of the character into a woman has split the fanbase right down the middle with many fearing for the Time Lord’s legacy, whereas the other half have hailed the casting of Jodie Whittaker as a major step forward for equality.
Whether you love, loathe or are indifferent to the reinvention of one of Sci-Fi’s oldest characters, one thing is undeniable…the majority of us will be tuning in to the new series when it debuts later this year.
The Tardis officially has a new master and at San Diego Comic-Con, the first trailer has been unveiled to replenish the time vortex and dispel the fears of a splintered fanbase:
