Lionsgate has debuted the first trailer for Keanu Reeves’ highly anticipated sequel: John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum
From its meagre beginnings, the John Wick saga has become one of the biggest action film series’ in recent memory. With what started as a low budget action flick, the series has claimed its rightful place amongst the biggest blockbusters Hollywood has to offer and spawned two sequels, the latter of which will hit cinemas on May 17, 2019.
Keanu Reeves’ retired hitman has won the hearts of millions of devoted action fans and the thought of the movie franchise coming to end does not thrill anyone. However, this summer will see the conclusion to the trilogy with John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum.
With Wick last seen on the run after being declared “excommunicado” by Winston (Ian McShane) in the finale of John Wick: Chapter 2, fans have been eager to witness the climax to end all climaxes and Lionsgate, eager to appease the legions of Wick fans have released the trailer for what looks to be a stellar finale to the series.
Parabellum finds John Wick on the run, and during the course of his adventures, he will encounter Sofia (Halle Berry) a fellow assassin and close personal friend and with a $14 million global contract on him, their objective is to fight their way out of New York City.
With the clock ticking down until its release, Lionsgate has unveiled a suitably cool new poster which you can see below.
