With Thanos on his quest to capture the Infinity Stones Thomas calls in the new Bucky Barnes action figure from Tamashii Nations’ S.H. Figuarts Collection
Bucky Barnes from Marvel’s hit movie “Avengers: Infinity War” joins the S.H.Figuarts line!
Seeing the official promo shots of Bucky Barnes from S.H. Figuarts, it felt the figure would be a big disappointment but having it in hands it’s actually not at all like these pictures. It’s one of the rare cases when the finished product is so much better than the promotional pictures. Usually, with Figuarts what you see in terms of promotional material is pretty much the same as the finished product.
This figure comes with 2 interchangeable faces, 6 interchangeable hands, a machine gun and ammunition for the gun. I’m tired of writing in every review that I’m disappointed with the interchangeable faces choice instead of interchangeable heads but I’m still going to mention it. It’s something that is so annoying and heads are much easily removed than faces. I don’t understand why sometimes they use heads (Obi-Wan Kenobi Revenge Of The Sith) and other times they use faces. In terms of accessories, they could have included the knife that is attached on his leg but I guess Figuarts was lazy here, unlike MAFEX that would have definitely included it.
The Bucky head sculpt is a success, it actually looks like Sebastian Stan and the digital print tech is amazing! The eyes looking in the other way face is pretty good too, I would have preferred another facial expression but the eyes face seems to be Figuarts default choice for a second face/head.
The outfit is screen accurate and has some nice paint apps, I love the details on the Wakandan arm, they nailed it! The gun is painted in black but still has some details.
This figure has 23 points of articulation.

Final Thoughts:
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by Bucky Barnes. It’s a great figure and definitely worth it!
