Marvel Legends Review | M’Baku (Black Panther)

Thomas heads to Wakanda for a skirmish with the Great Man-Ape M’Baku, leader of the Jabari Tribe

M’Baku is the leader of the Jabari Tribe, a group of Wakandans who have removed themselves from mainstream society, and a staunch opponent of T’Challa’s rule who ends up torn between challenging him for the throne only to help him defend Wakanda from Erik Killmonger.

M’Baku is the Build-A-Figure from the second Black Panther wave, you need the whole wave to build him. The figure has 21 points of articulation and comes with his mallet. Hasbro has respected M’Baku size making the figure quite tall compared to the usual Marvel Legends size.

I’m really impressed with the head sculpt, it’s spot on Winston Duke! And there’s a great use of the digital print tech! The hair is a separate piece of plastic and they gave it a nice little curly effect!

They put a lot of great work into this figure, the details are incredible, all the different textures and colors, well done Hasbro, that’s a way to reward fans for buying a whole wave! I would almost dare to say it’s S.H. Figuarts quality!

Overall, M’Baku is an exceptional figure, buying the whole wave was so worth it!
