Annlyel looks ahead to a glorious year of Star Wars and Marvel content coming to Disney+
Disney+ brought joy to millions when it was finally available last November, allowing us to see our favorite Disney movies and series while also releasing original content. Star Wars fans were given our first live-action series and it was better than I could’ve ever imagined. When the series’ first season ended it’s safe to say it was a bittersweet ending. The conclusion, of course, had us eager for more and now Bob Iger has only given us several months to look forward to.
In August, we’ll get The Falcon and the Winter Soldier which is destined to be an utter blast as it focuses on the bromance between Falcon and Bucky while also exploring Sam’s evolution into Captain America and Barnes’ transition into life as a real hero. Plus, we get some returning favorites such as Sharon Carter and Baron Zemo who will finally don his iconic mask from the comics.
Two months later, following the conclusion of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we’ll get to enjoy the second season of The Mandalorian which, if the first season is anything to go by, will be extraordinary.
And then, if that isn’t enough to excite you, WandaVision arrives on the heels of The Mandalorian in December. Heck yeah!
It’s going to be a great year to be an owner of Disney+.
