WandaVision

Annlyel looks ahead to the debut of Marvel’s hotly-anticipated Disney+ shows

We’ve finally gotten a first look at the second season of The Mandalorian thanks to a fun but mysterious trailer that dropped on a random Tuesday. And while I’m undoubtedly ecstatic about the notion that we’ll be seeing The Mandalorian in a month and a half, I can’t help but feel a sense of sadness. What sadness you may ask? The missing piece that makes a year whole and that is a Marvel Studios movie.

Black Widow 001

A little over a week ago I saw my first movie of the year; that being TENET (read our review). It was a fun experience to be back in a movie theater watching a film in IMAX, but afterward, I found myself desperately missing the fun times of watching a superhero movie in the theater. Now Wonder Woman 1984 has been moved to Christmas Day and the prospect of potentially seeing Black Widow this year seems slim. What do we have to tide us over until Black Widow? The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVisiontwo MCU shows that are still slated to arrive this year on Disney+.

WandaVision-001

Filming has resumed on both series, the final touches are being added, and it’s safe to assume that we just might be getting first looks at these shows next month. We maybe even getting a trailer. If so, I would be very happy because I miss Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
