NECA has shared some glorious new images of the DEFENDERS OF THE EARTH action figures. The wonderful 7″ figures are based on the characters from the cult classic 80s animated series. Wave 1 features Flash Gordon, The Phantom, and the villainous Ming the Merciless.
NECA recently teased us with our first look at their Lothar figure. He is expected to debut alongside Mandrake the Magician in series 2. But with wave one finally releasing at Walmart, NECA is pulling back the curtain and allowing us to get our first look.

I cannot wait to add these figures to my collection. I was a Defenders mega fan as a kid and had all the original characters (swinging arms and all). But these new additions appear to be a serious upgrade from those.
