Game Of Thrones alumni Indira Varma has reportedly joined the cast of Ewan McGregor’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series
INDIRA VARMA is heading to the galaxy far, far away. Deadline is reporting that the Game Of Thrones alumni has reportedly joined the cast of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series in a mystery role. The British-born actress rose to prominence with roles in Game Of Thrones, Rome, Luther, and Carnival Row. And now, she will bring her acting prowess to bear on the galaxy far, far away.
Lucasfilm is typically keeping the extent of her role under wraps for the time being. But her casting is a positive addition to an already stellar cast. In addition to Ewan McGregor, the series will boast the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
OBI-WAN KENOBI
As of press time, little is known about the series. However, we do know that it will take place ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith. However, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has promised the show will boast an epic duel between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader.
